KIVUMBI GIVING HOPE TO AFRICAN CHILDREN

HOPE FOR OUR CHILDREN

Speaking to Journalists last week in Kampala Kivumbi said;

Governments and many Organizations across the world consider children important and are seen as today & tomorrow’s future leaders. There therefore given special priorities and opportunities to make there lives better and prepare them to face different challenges of life.

The People’s Development Party has been analyzing and is moving around to find out the state of Ugandan children and how best we can make children’s future secured.

We believe that children in this country and the rest of Africa must be given close attention in respect for Morals, Education, Rights, Health, Social Life, Culture, & Equal Opportunities.

We have realized that many children have been victims of torture, many have been neglected and rejected by there families, a big number of them are orphans and victims of HIV/Aids, many in spite of the Universal Primary Education (U.P.E) remain in gardens and shambas as scare crows to birds and monkeys, others have been forced live on streets yet some others become prostitutes at a tender age.CLICK HERE 4 MORE PICS

In villages some have been forced in early marriages for materialistic purposes, others engaged in child labour, some have been attributed in child trafficking;

Reports say that the numbers of those kidnapped has escalated and child sacrifice continues to prevail in various parts of the country.

We consider it important as P.D.P to join individuals, groups and organizations that have come up to fight for the rights of our children and to ensure improved standards of living for them.
We are however disappointed that up to now there no government aided and established rehabilitation centers for those children  abandoned and who appear vagabonds in there own country.
We should know and understand that these are our own blood and there’s no justification if we choose to neglect them.
