Uganda Gov`t Put on Gun Point to Open 88.8,89.9 CBS & 104.1 Ssuubi Fm Radio Stations;Ultimatum ending Jan 3rd 2010.

getting close to 90 days ever since this mighty nation experienced an historical moment of tension appearing in the wide spread riots that claimed lives of Ugandans and there property-horrific scenes
We desire not to witness again not even by the future generation.

Four radio stations were closed and so far two are back on air leaving questions why the two in particular CBS & Ssubi Fm are not opened.
This is why People` s Development Party demands justice from the Uganda Government, particularly the National Broadcasting Council.

We do not know why for all this time the two radio stations remain closed yet there counter parts are now in service!
This brings us assumptions as to whether there emerged a war against the Buganda Kingdom masterminded by the Central government; Let them explain!
We are confident that the two Kingdom stations played various roles in promoting
Unity, culture, values & morals and development after role the kingdom has no reliable
sources of funds to facilitate many of it`s programs.
When a particular member of the/media allegedly abuses some of his profession ethics or commits an offence within the scope of his duties;
Issue summons to him as an individual so that his rights may be exercised, there`s therefore no need of closing the whole media body.

Hundreds of workers on these radio stations remain jobless yet no damages where instituted to them.
Funs who enjoyed programs like Africa Special, Ensi no Bwengula, Kiriza oba Gana,
Muna U, kalisoliso,Sports,Bwakedde Mpulira, Kalasa Mayanzi, Evenning Cruew, Amawulire, Ekyotto are now cursing whoever has a hand in this.

PDP demands immediate reinstating of these Fm stations with special damages offered because besides earnings from adverts normally at such a time like this the stations would be mobilizing people for end of year concerts.
We have given the government 3o days to open CBS & Ssubi and failure to do so we shall drag it to the African Union tribunal, involve the East Africa parliament after all our
Parliament with all it`s mandate has not taken interest whatsoever.
The Human Rights watch is there and many other International bodies are willing to intervene;
Donors must know that violation of the freedom of Press and humanity is evident in Museveni era.

The Government of Uganda must apologize to journalists individually and even compensate them.
They remain a mirror for the society and therefore shouldn`t be blamed for running, publishing and writing on various things.
If you seem to be dirty and ugly, you do not have to break the mirror for the image it shows you instead try to make sure you clean yourself o you`ll have a good image in the mirror.

Government should apologize to the 6 journalists who were allegedly tortured at Entebbe Airport while on there way to Nairobi while coming from Somalia.
This is so ridiculous and black mails the image of our country.
